2020 has been an interesting year, to say the least, thus far. Coronavirus and the Black Lives Matter movement taking center stage making an impact across the globe. Countless smaller stage issues related to or drown out by the big two. Amid all that is going on, I hope that on this 4th of July, 2020 that you are safe, healthy, and happy.
DAMN you Windows 10!!!
DAMN you Windows 10!!! Thanks to your frequent and required updates my laptop, a Sony Vaio VPC-EB2TGX, is broken. Not broken as in dead, but broken as in the screen is stuck at full brightness and I can no longer dim it though any of the available controls. Looks like I’ll be going back to the original Windows 7 on it as it’s unusable in this state. This is just terrible Microsoft, and you don’t even permit me to not take the latest update which caused this issue so an older build of Windows 10 isn’t even a possible solution.

Apple is Genius
Today, Apple announced the iPhone 8, 8+, and X. A lot has been said by the media, press, and citizens of the world; but, no one has pointed out the link between the phone and the pricing. Either it’s so subtle no one is noticing it, or they’re too busy critiquing the new devices.
It’s almost sheer brilliance that the:
iPhone 8+ = $800
iPhone X(10) = $1000
It’s not a feature the end-user cares much for but Apple definitely put detail into that design.
